To create the image, I used Midjourney. It took quite a while to come up with an image that I was satisfied with. Once I had one, I printed it on matte photo paper and started coloring it. I used Prismacolor pencils for the initial coloring and then went over the image again with gel pens. Some of the gel pens were metallic and glitter, giving the image a really nice shine.
Thanks for looking. I'm very happy with how the eye turned out and it was a lot of fun to color.

OMG I love this so very much! The eyeball is exquisitely done with such vibrant colour, and I love how you have repeated a little of it on the scales under the eye. Amazing!

A stunner for sure, Brian! As Margot (wave jumper) noticed, the white scales of the dragon allow the fabulousness of the eye to shine, but also provide a really interesting contrast and imagination. WOWZA, for sure!
