This is for today's Alphabet Challenge letter O for Olive. I couldn't decide between green olives and black olives so both colors are represented.
I keep seeing this style of card around and wanted to try it. This was perfect because I also wanted to use this olive stamp (this is the first time it has seen ink) and this style card is perfect for a smaller image.
I followed the instructions in this Youtube video: . It really made it easier - and used less card stock.
Before adding my black strips, I stamped the Forever Fern stamps all over the background in Old Olive ink. I stamped my focal olive and colored it with Copics adding some white gel pen to highlight the olive and Glossy Accents on the little heart.
This was a fun card to make. Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

I just love this! Starting to get fed up with not being able to see any videos linked on SCS even it's something like this that I'd like to follow up. The olive is great.

Great card Catherine. I have been noticing that layout as well, so thanks for providing a link. Your subtle stamping on the olive looks great against the black accent. That is a sweet little image and too funny we were thinking the same title. Except you actually had a stamp for it!! Love the glossy accent!

Great job with this easy and fun technique. My DD loves a dirty martini with lots of olives - me, no thanks.
