 | | Congratulations to Dbamesberg, today's featured stamper, you have a lovely gallery. This lovely card caught my eye: Inspired by Nature by Dbamesberg at Splitcoaststampers I kept the flowers and similar layout but brought the card into living color. I also made two cards while I was at it, keeping one a thank you card and making a get well card for the other. The background paper of the get well card was packaging wrap for a package my daughter got and I thought would be great for cards. This is the second card I've made using some of it.
I softly sponged around the edges of the background panels and then stamped the flowers and greenery on those panels. For the get well card, I added gold cord and popped up the sentiment which is also softly sponged. For the thank you card, I matted the focal panel and I popped up the sentiment that is matted with a Night of Navy scalloped oval. I finished it off with some gems.
My colors were inspired by color challenge 961 though I used Night of Navy and Mint Macaron instead of Misty Moonlight and Soft Succulent because I don't have those.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking. |
