I can't actually remember what colours of inks I used for the background, sorry! Stamped the waves and sentiment, fussy-cut the whale from watercolour paper. The panel is edged with narrow double-sided tape and silver and blue glitter burnished in.

Well, I’ve learned two techniques here! I have never seen or heard of the glittered tape! Your whale is so cute against your fossilized bg, Sabrina. A perfect marriage of image and bg. Thanks for taking time to try out the technique on different papers and report back.
