I have been working on this card all week, every time I could snatch a minute. My life is usually very sedate, but all of the sudden this week, I was in demand. Busy with something everyday. I really wanted to do a sailing card for John because he is a fellow sailor. I have lots of sailboat stamps, but not one of a catamaran, and since I also sailed cats I wanted one on his card. So, I had to paint one.
I saw a card with this layout on Pinterest and really liked it.

What a terrific painting ..... well done! Your compass charm is the perfect embellishment!

I was surprised to read you didn't have a catamaran stamp because I thought that was what was on the card...then I read you painted it! Fabulous job. I love the soft colors and the serene, peaceful feeling this evokes...just like being on the water. and gliding through the waves Fantastic card.

Pat, this is awesome with the catamaran - so well painted, you didn’t need a stamp - he will love this knowing it is from a fellow sailor! The dp is perfect as is the compass, and wonderful sentiment! I enjoyed going out on the catamaran and not once did John tip us in! Thank you for making this fabulous card for him~
