The Misti Challenge for August is: Cream of the Crop. You guessed it...the primary color is the cream color card stock for the card. I decided to use the leftover leaves that I had from my Misti Challenge card from July. It was perfect to get started on a Thanksgiving card.
I started the Rock n Roll Technique on my Misti with the lighter colors...Pear Pizzazz and the Hello Honey tapped off. After fussy cutting out the leaves....then I got out my blender brushes and started layering the colors. I then used Chocolate Chip to edge each leaf with the blender brush.
I used the circle die cut first. Then put the circle in the SU tree folder (sorry, can't remember the name). At that point I distressed the edge of the circle. The background was done on my score board....giving a boarder around the card (1/4") from the edge. Repeating the distressing around the edge of the background. I popped up the circle and sentiment panel.
I gave it a 3 because it took several steps to make the card. I enjoyed the challenge.....thank you!!
Thanks for taking a look!
