I believe these are yellow gladiolus in the milk pail on the right, and another representation of faithfulness is the cat sitting on the chair (my 17 year old cat is most certainly a faithful companion). I could not work an embossed panel into this scene but I did include a RED geranium!
I watercolored the porch scene, fussy cut and foam mounted the window with flower box, the hanging planter, and the pot of geraniums for dimension, and put some Stickles on the gladiolus for sparkle.

Heartwarming scene and reminiscent of so many front porches in the midwest where I grew up! You'd never find that here in the desert where I live now . . . . Fun card with lots to see.

Linda, this is sooooo pretty and fun. So many cool flowers and items. It is a porch I would love to sit on just not in August unless a GIANT fan was on me or this porch was in Iceland - lol. GREAT coloring too. Hugz

What a wonderful scene. I'm not sure if cosy is the right word for somewhere outdoors, but certainly very inviting looking. Great detailing with the shadows adding depth to the scene.
