Featured Stamper Challenge hosted by Julie. She selected Sue aka Suespms.
I so enjoyed Sue's gallery as she uses a lot of the older Stampin Up sets. It was a walk down memory lane for me as I have been a customer or demo since the first year. I was drawn to this one in Sue's Gallery:
I have always loved this set, but rarely use it these days. I was happy to play with it. I decided to use retired cardstock whenever I can, so I selected three retired colors and one current.
FYI: The colors Cameo Coral, Ballet Blue and Old Olive were all part of the original Stampin Up exclusive colors back in 1997. Amazingly Old Olive is still current.
My stamp-a-ma-jig helped me position the stamping. When I used this stamp many years ago, I would use loose glitter on the flower; today I used Wink of Stella instead. So much easier!
Changes: same stamps, different colors, used brass butterflies instead of stamping them, tilted my textured cardstock layer instead of punching corners.
Congratulations Sue. I loved your card and your gallery. Thanks for sharing your cards with us and for inspiring mine today! TFL

Diane this looks fabulous. Your retired stamp set and colors look up to date to me - modern and fresh and are so pretty. Love the offset panels too and those little butterflies are a sweet touch!
