Julie has chosen Sue (suespms) as featured stamper this week. What a great choice! Congratulations Sue! I loved going through your gallery and seeing all the older sets you used. I chose this pretty card: Strawberries by suespms at Splitcoaststampers.
I was fortunate to pick up this dp package at a recent garage sale. I had regretted not getting it at the time it came out, so I have been wanting to use it now that I found it. Changed to dp for the background instead of stamping and did not offset my panel. In a nod to her strawberries I used retired c.s. and ribbon in strawberry slush. I first colored the flowers in the dp with an RV25 copic but went over it with R32 to get a closer match to the ribbon I used. I doubled up the sentiment die and popped it up with foam tape. Enjoy your week in the spotlight Sue. Your cards have made me want to pull out some older sets!

A wonderful take on the inspiration, Shirl - and I adore this DSP & should probably use it more. I can hardly believe you still have a bit of that stretch ribbon!

Shirl, This is a great case of Sue's inspiration card. I love the overall black and white color combination and coordinating designer paper. The pink flowers pop right off the screen. Gorgeous!

So pretty, Shirl. Lovely paper, stamps, coloring. Wish I could go garage sale-ing with you! Wonderfully done and it put an idea in my head for a card - super inspiring. Hugz

Your garage sale find is terrific! I never find anything. :-) Love the black, white, and pink together. Your take on the FS's card is beautiful. Yummy strawberries - nothing finer!

Wow, I love your version of "strawberries". That dp is sumptuous and pairs beautifully with your stamped images. The pops of pink against the B&W is gorgeous. Love everything little detail on this from the bg to the fancy folded ribbon embellishment. Awesome card.

Shirl, I love that you colored your designer paper! Strawberry Slush is still one of my favorite SU colors .... love your pretty ribbon and matching cardstock. Your sentiment die is so elegant and compliments your regal dsp so well.
