I have a stencil similar to Sue's card that has overhanging trees. However, I had trouble making the stencils look right, so I switched to using a stamp instead. I'm pleased with how the image turned out. Firstly, I applied the base layer in Forest Foliage and then moved the stamp slightly to the right and stamped again in Easy Espresso. Additionally, I stamped the deer, cut it out, and colored it using Prismacolor pencils.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and a big thank you to suespms for providing such an inspiring card.

A lovely inspired design from Sue's card - a great technique used in shadow inking your forest - and your lovely deer really stands out being up on foam dots!

Wow, that pathway behind the deer just really draws me in. I would love to meander down that lane and enjoy that beautiful foliage. The double stamping of the trees looks super. Wonderful card.
Brian, This is a great case of Sue's inspiration card. We chose the same inspiration card. I love your take. This is such a perfect masculine card. Stamping the forest background twice in the two different shades of brown is genius. It added more depth to the background. Your coloring on the deer with Prismacolor pencils matches the background perfectly.

Brian, this is a beautiful card. I appreciate how much you shared about how you created it. It's nice to see some coloring with Prisma pencils for a change. I love a good landscape or outside scene so this really drew my eye- it's gorgeous!
