For the Inspiration Challenge (IC924), we visited DeWinton Paper Co & their Pinterest Board. I chose THIS for my inspiration.
My mini slimline was fairly easy. I die cut the parts for the door w/ the added winter door parts out of red, white & green scraps. I didn't use all the dies that come w/ both of these sets. After putting them together, I took a white pencil & a red Copic and added a little distressing to the door. I used a white Posca pen to add some snow on top of a few areas. A repeating brick stencil was used for the appearance of a brick facade behind the door.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & products: The Write Stuff

Your inspiration is beautiful, and you have captured it to perfection. I love your subtle brick background. I make Christmas wreaths, so I especially love yours.

Your cozy holiday door scene really drew me in. The subtle brick behind the door and the friendly wreath, potted evergreen and door lamps all come together perfectly. I love, love the sentiment.

Your cozy, inviting door card is fabulous, Julie. I love the subtle brick wall in the background and all the cute, bright details on your entry, especially the yellow lights on the outside and coming from within. Your lace edged matting looks so pretty and the sentiment is perfect.

Loving your red door Julie - it is my choice for a front door colour. No matter where I moved to the first thing I did was paint the front door red. lol Cannot do that now that I am in an apartment! Wonderful card.
