Back in the 70's when I was first married, I lived in a gorgeous Los Angeles suburb called Glendale and my husband and I rode our bikes every Saturday on the bike paths near Santa Monica Pier. Since then, bike images make me light up, remembering that magical period in my life. This darling Paper Shelter cyclist was so fun to color with Copics while reminiscing about those delightful rides along the pristine sunny beach. I love the sweet bike image on this fun card from our inspiration site: https://themakerskeep.com/collection...-card-im-paper

Your description of the scenic bike rides in the '70's is wonderful. My husband and I were married in summer of 1972 so you took me back to wonderful times as well. Your coloring of this fun image is just stellar; such a bright and happy card with a perfect sentiment.

How delightful that this inspiration piece sparked that happy memory! And also your card has the added cute girl enjoying her bike as oppose to the unoccupied bike on the inspiration piece. It bring life and joy to this!!
