I created this card for Amber, this week's Teapot card recipient: "8 Cheers for Amber." We are to send a card with "hugs", cheerful or thinking of you messages.
I used a new Concord & 9th die called "Eclectic Garden" that I bought at an estate sale for a woman who passed away tragically in a car accident last spring. I know she'd be happy to see her dies used to uplift someone else.
I cut everything in white and colored the flowers, leaves and stems with Tombow markers. I die cut the edges of the card and embossed a panel for the center.
I hope my card brings Amber some cheer!

Gracie, this card is beautiful. You are letting your creativity carry kindness on through this die and the beautiful paper garden will enlighten someone else as a way to pass peace on.

What a unique card with that die and the embossing in the middle...so pretty! I'm sure Jeannie would love that her stamping goods are being used to bring cheer to others. She was a kind person.

This is gorgeous and those sweet flowers look perfectly poised atop that great basketweave embossing. The open framework on the base layer just continues the beauty, texture and interest on this. I have this die set too and I think it's one of the best. I hope you enjoy using it more and more and I'm sure your friend is well pleased to know it went to a talented crafter like you. Fabulous card.

Ooh, Gracie you picked up a great die from Jeannie's estate sale. She was a friend of Karen's too as you probably know. So tragic. You are right she would love that you bought this die to use. Love your added ribbon to that panel. That e.f. is a cool background for your sweet flowers.
