I used the closest colors I could come up with. I made a couple of Nuvo shimmer powder backgrounds, using mixed media and watercolor papers. I also used a bit of a smooshed watercolor piece made with kitsch flamingo distress ink. I cut away the corner of the white panel with a split texture die, placing it over the cherry bomb watercolor piece. The flowers were cut from mixed media papers and I hot foiled the sentiment. This is for a dear friend of mine, back in Alaska, whose favorite color is pink. Also, Chris, thanks for choosing my card last week. It's an honor!

Striking card with your vibrant background. It compliments your design beautifully. Those die cuts are so pretty with these colors. Again, your foiling is beautiful. Congrats on having your card chosen last week. It is a stunning creation. TFS

Oh, what pretty little flowers - and so much fun against that background! I have some dies like this that I've been intending to get out again and this is so inspirational.
