Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she gave us a beautiful combo to work with: Bubble Bath, Berry Burst and Lost Lagoon. The dessert option this week is "anything goes." My dessert option is gold Lunar Paste.
The Buds & Blossoms set from Taylored Expressions has become a favorite of mine. I started out by stamping the stems with the background stamp in Mossy Meadow ink. Then a series of four stencils--leaves in Lost Lagoon, buds in Bubble Bath and Berry Burst, and the little hearts at the bottoms of the buds in gold Lunar Paste.
Die cut the frames, added a piece of vellum in the center, die cut the buds, stamped and die cut the greeting, and assembled it all onto a standard A2 card base.
These colors were luscious to work with. Please join us and have some fun with them, then post your creation in the gallery for us all to admire!

This is really pretty Barbara and I love the stencil work and the card layout. The birthday wishes sentiment is a great touch for the frame you used. The lunar paste adds more pizzazz.

Beautiful! Love the coordination with the die-cut buds and the paper. The frames & vellum are terrific. Love the touch of gold. Wonderful inspiration for the challenge colors!

Beautiful card, Barbara! I love the die cut buds over that wonderful BG! The vellum gives it just the right distinction from the BG and I love the small scalloped frame!
