I enjoyed looking through Cindy's gallery and loved her cute Christmas Cookie card. I wish I had a cute cookie stamp like she used, but I don't. The DSP she used on her card reminded me of a background stamp I recently purchased. I placed it in my Tonic Studios platform and inked it with distress inks, switching out the colors. I stamped another portion of the background, embossed it with clear powder, it was die cut and popped up with foam tape. I added a few little candy canes for something extra. Here's her sweet card that inspired me.

Love the collage-y feel you captured with these festive sentiments! Your clever inking and that popped up sentiment makes it feel like separate stamps rather than one big background stamp - clever you!

Wow, I thought that was dp. Great stamping. Love that you popped up the main sentiment. That's such a nice touch and really adds interest to a card. The candy cane striped base is perfection. Fabulous card.

Love that background stamp, and how you inked it up with different colors! What a great idea to pop up the sentiment, and I love those candy canes you added! Very sweet card!

What a great stamp and I love how you inked it and popped up part of it. The candy canes are fun too. Wonderful Christmas card, Sue. Fab case. Hugz
