More bulk card making for the seniors. I used the November 2020 sheetload project by Crafty Al. The most fiddly part was getting all the measurements right. I made a total of six cards with this design, and cut enough of the DSP to make six more later. I really like how these turned out.
I cut three 8.5 x 11 sheets of heavy kraft cardstock in half vertically and made 6 top folding cards. I cut black cardstock and DSP according to Alâs measurements and glued together, then dry embossed the finished background pieces with a small diamond folder. Then I cut six hexagons using the largest Beautiful Shapes die. I inked the poinsettia stamp with Wild Wasabi ink and stamped off before stamping on the hexagon. Then inked the sentiment and stamped directly on top. I attached the hexagons with foam tape.
Loved this layout and once I got the hang of the measurements it went pretty quicklyâ¦I see more of this design in my future.
USEIT2023 - Still working my way through my January 2022 post Christmas paper bargains, and will be doing so for some time to come. Happy to use old SU set Season of Joy, and the Beautiful Shapes die set.
