I got to participate in todayâs Featured Stamper challenge TODAY! How cool is that? I love Jenniferâs detailed layouts with so many embellishments, very inspiring. I chose this one as a basis for my card:
The tropical colors spoke to me in our current heat and I knew I had some good coordinating papers in my scrap bin so I started digging. I found an extra chalk pastel background that I had made for a technique challenge way back last year, and knew that was a perfect start. I attached it to the card front. I found a scrap of dark pink rice paper with a decorative edge and layered that onto the card base. I die cut a scrap of blue cardstock using the SU Radiating Stitches rectangle die and glued that to the card front. I used a circle die from the Beautiful Shapes set to cut a circle from white cardstock just a little bigger than the flamingo sticker, then placed the sticker on the circle and attached to the card front. I stamped the sentiment in pink ink on another white scrap and trimmed, then added it to the card front. I finished with several stickers.
Congrats to Jennifer, hope you have a great week!

Well, your card is definitely sending good and beach-ey vibes. Love the tropical images as well as the colors. That flamingo is very cool. Wonderful card.
