It is the last week for Christmas in July with the Color Challenge. Our hostess, Barbara selected lovely colors: Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink and metallic gold.
I started with a stamp set from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit. I stamped this cute little wreath in Mossy Meadow. I immediately used a blender pen to pull some ink from the impression to lightly color in each leaf. Then, I stamped the berries in the Polished Pink.
The sentiment stamp is from the same set. At first, I had an idea to use the word Christmas without the Merry and since I have so many Merry Christmas stamps, I decided to cut the merry off the photopolymer stamp. I did so carefully so I could slip it back in if I wanted to use both words. I stamped Christmas high in the open space for my idea and then I changed my mind. It worked out in the end. Since the words were cut apart, I was able to stamp the phrase in two colors.
The wreath was embellished with a die-cut shimmer vellum bow and a gold faceted gem.
I look forward to seeing your beautiful cards this week. We hope you will join in! TFL

Ooh, I love the deckle edge on your white layer, Diane. The wreath is so pretty with its pink berries. I love how you used the blender pen to fill in with subtle color!

Oh, gosh were we ever on the same train of thought. I even got out my deckle rectangles at one point. I love the way you did your greeting and used some of that shimmery vellum on this beauty!
