This is my card for CC957. Diane is our hostess and she chose pretty peacock, crumb cake and shaded spruce for her color trio. Dessert option is Christmas in July.
The colors were a definite challenge but, I am happy with the results. For my Christmas card I started with my designer paper. It's from the Stampin' Up "brightly gleaming" collection. I saw this card on Pinterest and used it as inspiration. Stamped my ornaments on vanilla in shaded spruce.
Cut the star from gold cardstock and added greenery in gold and pretty peacock. Added gold metallic ribbon to complete the card.
Hope you can play along this week. Looking forward to seeing how everyone uses these colors.

Mary, you've brought in these beautiful jewel-toned colors in a beautiful way. The gold star is a great contrast and complements the design perfectly! I think I still have some of that paper somewhere.

What a wonderful little Christmasy collage of pattern! I love the layered patterns with the foil (no pun intended) of the sleeker star outline. Such a creative and effective combination!

Mary, this card radiates joy with the gold star and all the festive elements. Great take on the inspiration card, but I love how you made it your own with different elements and that wonderful sentiment strip!
