This week the Teapotters are helping Aunt Betty celebrate her 96th Birthday. WHOOHOO!!! Our hostess, Jacqueline, asked us to use an element from a palindrome. I chose: As I pee sir, I see Pisa!
Initially I thought of a tilt-ey cake, but once I saw Lisa (aka Shoe Girls) fabulous card (here: MMTPT781 Birthday Cake by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers, I knew I didn't have any images that cute. So, I went with a stack of tilt-ey presents instead because we all love PB Kitty.
For my card, I first die cut 96 from the base and then embossed. Unfortunately the "96" got a bit lost in the design, but it's there lurking in the bg. I thought my yellow cs would be super bright enough, but it didn't have enough contrast with the white, so I used CP ink direct to paper to create a darker yellow/orangey frame and inked blended the ENJOY die cut to give it some oomph off the paper. This design isn't original as Jill Foster has used many critters, flowers and other images on one of the letters of these big PB dies. But, it's cute so I went with it. I added some butterflies just because.
I hope Betty has a fabulous birthday and that our palindromic cards will add even more joy to her festivities. Man, I so wish I could think of a clever palindrom to end this post, but I can't -- poop! Have a great day and TFL.

I concur with Mac...I saw the 96 right away - it's not lost in the background at all. I enjoyed your thought process with this challenge and am glad you liked it. I like the palindrome your used too - I didn't see that one while conducting my research. LOL
