I used double sided tape and embossing powders to get my wonky strips. I had to emboss each one separately to keep the powder clean. I used the same basic layout as Anne Marie did, not a birthday but definitely thinking about traveling. I am a pro at losing a stamp the moment I peel it off the acetate...I didn't want to use the sentiment I did but haven't found the one that was in my hand for two seconds. Happens to me more often than I care to admit.
Thanks for the challenges!

Wow! I love how you used the ep here--it really makes an impact. I'm with you on losing things...sometimes I still think I'm holding them, look down and realise--gone again! Geez!

Jean, I love the embossed metallic strip background you created. They highlight your vintage suitcase and trunk image perfectly. PS.....I have the same problem as you but usually with a small die.

Loved the metallic strips in your bg before I read your description. Your tape technique is fabulous, especially on this card. Love the images and the sentiment too -- although I know how it is when it isn't what you exactly had in mind. And, oh yeah, I'm in that "where the H*LL did it go" club too. Fabulous card.
