I've been trying to make a few simple cards using what's close to me. A Deep blue slimline with a white layer, inked and a sticker flower from my stash, and had #10 envelopes out after the slimline grad card, so it was easy. The idea for this card, thanks to Holsteins card "Lupines" (note: I did nothing like what she did). Loved her scoring with the sides painted. I masked off an area from top to bottom. Squished up a plastic bag, dipped in ink, and pounced on the left lightly. I then scored the card and added my sticker vase/flower and a wee hand-cut stamped tag tucked in the flowers/vase. I chalked under the vase and sprayed to seal. Inside stamping and added some punching for interest.

Such a lovely card, Betty. Wonderful card design with the slim line format and the pretty vase of flowers. The side panel reminds me of toile de jouy. Beautifully done.

Wonderful! I thought the inking on the side (which you said was a plastic bag) was a cool stamp. I love the look you achieved there. The scoring adds a wonderful detail and sets the stage to show off your cool flower sticker. And then you add to the recipient's delight with both the decorated inside as well as the lovely sentiment. Fabulous card.

Oh this is lovely ! The slimline format is so striking on this card. Your grad card was fantastic too. Glad you enjoyed doing the scoring and I like how you did the squishing with the plastic bag. Fav,d

Beautiful card and I love the inking with the bag on the left side. The vase of flowers is beautiful, too. Can't go wrong caseing something of Holstein's.

Fabulous! Love the vase of flowers with the tiny tag. The score lines and pounced background on the side looks terrific. The inside is lovely with the die-cut edges and the sweet sentiment. Another beautiful card! Love it.

Wonderful effect with that plastic bag, Betty. And then the scoring is perfection. Your punching is dainty and pretty looking to go with your vase of flowers! Beautiful card!
