I'm a peacock Captain! You gotta let me fly!
- Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys
Hi Lyn. Thank you for selecting the starburst technique. I have always been curious about how it is done. For your first card, I created an unmodified starburst using the brown card on the bottom.
I realized this technique can be applied to other works, so I utilized a Cricut and foil paper scraps to cut out feathers and a body shape. The background paper features an embossed design with an open circle in the middle for the peacock. I added DO inks to create the background.
Thanks for looking!

Terrific projects. You are clever to create a peacock with this technique. I like the embossing, too. Looks like you are having fun. Thanks for sharing your creations!
