We had an Independence weekend party at our house, and I figured I should have a craft for the kids to do. This is what I came up with. I cut out frames, made a stand for it, and let the kids use a variety of star stamps to decorate them. Then I took a picture, printed it in black and white and the kids taped them into the frame. To make the frame/holder, I cut the frame 4 1/4 x 5 inches. The opening is 2 1/4 x 3 Then I cute a 12x12 sheet to 10 by 4 3/4. I folded the larger sheet in half and used a scrap to create an "accordian" that held the frame from sliding open. I made sure to take nice close ups so the black and whites would have nice detail. I have to say, they turned out just SO cute! Everyone LOVED them! The nice thing is that now I can take these frames and mount them to a 12x12 and I have a ready made page!
