This card is a combination of yesterday's alcohol ink challenge and last week's F4A challenge. I tried so hard to do the alcohol ink gel press backgrounds. I watched the videos, I followed the directions, but I don't know what went wrong. My backgrounds were terrible. So I grabbed a piece of aluminum foil and did some alcohol ink smooshing on it. I used glossy cardstock because I didn't mind if the ink got sucked up and didn't spread around too much. I thought it was a great background for the Rock N Roll baby shower card that a friend asked me to make. The dad plays in a heavy metal band. I had just the right stamps. I can't remember who I got them from, but I've never used them and they couldn't have been more perfect. I've been seeing a lot of ads for some Heidi Swapp stamps where they are kind of layered in different colored ink in a collage style, so I tried that and I love it! I cut it with my ScanNCut and then added a black border by cutting the same shape with a border out of black. I think the sentiment on the banner from Ink Road Stamps is so fun for this card.

That bg is perfect for a rock and roll dad (and family)! I like your out of the box thinking using the foil. That image is wild. Really fun and unique card. Glad you played along!
