The Gallery for this week's Featured Stamper, Kathy aka muscrat, has been described by many as impressive. I can't think of a better description so I"m sticking with that: "Impressive". Lots to choose from but this one reminded me of my mountain stamp set so it's what I picked: Adore him back by muscrat at Splitcoaststampers
Like Kathy, I kept my colors monotone although hers are silver/gray and white; I kept the mountains in the bg and the trees in the foreground; but, I changed the season from Christmas to Birthday and the matting on the main image and matted the sentiment.
I recently used this stamp set and these colors on a Teapot card and when I saw Kathy's card, this scene jumped right into my mind. It's just stamping. The purple frames are direct ink to paper with the darker color. Unusual for me, I left the base plain, unadorned and not textured. But I like it.
Congratulations Kathy on being selected this week's Featured Stamper. Your Gallery is fabulous and beautiful and I hope you enjoy all the cards you have inspired. And, I hope everyone is having a majestic day filled with their favorite scenes and colors. TFL
