Diane is hosting the Color Challenge this week with Berry Burst, Lemon Lolly and Shaded Spruce and flowers for dessert.
I wasn't sure how I was going to use this light, fluffy new yellow with the bolder colors so I started just by playing around with the inks and daubers AND getting to know my newest flower set, Darling Details. (It kind of reminded me of my very first floral set, Flashy Florals, so I couldn't resist!) In the end, almost all of the papers on my card started out white with color applied with the daubers and then stamped over. I tried it with the doily type frame in yellow but it didn't quite work - but I did use the tiny yellow pieces that were left over as the centers for my flowers.
Thank you so much for peeking! I hope you can play along - just use your closest colors.

Chris I absolutely love this!! The eyelet border is darling-but my favorite element is the background you created behind the eyelet border- so elegant and such a cool blending of the colors!

Beautiful blended background with a soft collage feel from the random stamping. Love it! Sometimes when it is more of a challenge, the most amazing things happen! Great card. Thanks!

We were sort of on the same wavelength this week, Chris! Your yellow background looks a bit like mine, don't you think? I love the daisy frame and the pretty flowers. I love how you were able to make your cardstock the colors you needed for the challenge!

Chris, you created a beautiful bg for your floral spray....which is lovely too. The white eyelet frame give it a wonderful feminine touch. A stunning card.

Love your creation, especially the background you created. I saw it this morning and was inspired to create something similar. Thanks for the inspiration.
