A big congrats to Kathy, the newest Featured Stamper (FS852). She has a big , beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I liked the split panel circle in variegated shades & the butterfly w/ the die cut outline leaves, so I kept those. But I used different images, dies & colors & instead of gold I used holographic silver.
After I die cut the circle out of white, I laid strips of turquoise, teal & blue onto a piece of some Glad stick & seal wrap then die cut the same circle out of it. After peeling off the wrap, I cut the strips narrower to allow some white from the base circle to show through. The butterfly was colored w/ 3 Copics & die cut. The leaves & flowers were die cut out of a silver holographic card stock & arranged under & on top of the circle.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog: The Write Stuff

So pretty, Julie. Love your focal colors and the funky sprigs plus the butterfly is super beautiful. Wonderful case/card. Hugz

Wow! Julie, this is such a gorgeous card and case. I especially love how you used the Letters Full of Flowers under the circle. I love how your mind works. This is so creative.

What a beautiful CASE. I learned something from your description; Glad stick and seal. I'm Glad you told us how you did this in your description, as I was wondering how you got the strips so perfect.
