It's a very rainy day here, so I was able to spend some extra time in my craft room (no baseball today). I haven't made a card in a few days and it felt great! This is a combination of today's IC. I chose this photo from the challenge post to inspire my underwater scene. The color of those fish are stunning. So I got out my Kaleidacolor Flannel stamp pad and stamped some background fish in those same colors. I happened to have this bubble background sitting on my desk and I really like this look. Then I stamped the mermaid and her fishy friends and colored them using the same colors as the inspiration fish. I still felt like I needed a little something more, so I decided to combine with the TLC that was "shapes inside of shapes". I kind of took the easy way out with this MFT die that had the three circles and the border. Then I die cut the circles into smaller circles for the shapes within shapes. I find that I am always putting nets on my mermaid cards. I can't resist. I hope she doesn't get tangled up in it though.

Fab fish and mermaid, Jen. LOVE the colors and that little bit of netting. The mermaid is colored perfectly too. Hugz
