TLC951 - Tone on Tone
I combined challenges this evening. I LOVED this card when I saw it in Lesley's gallery in 2014. I HAD to get this stamp!! So, today, I HAD to case her card. This also is for today's TLC, Tone on Tone.
I stamped randomly onto Highland Heather using the tulip stamp & Versamark ink. Then I clear embossed. Using SB dies, I cut a scallop oval in White & a plain oval in HH. Using the 'old' stamp-ma-jig, I stamped the tulip & split the Happy Birthday sentiment. Then added small half pearls. So my card is the same, but different. Thank you Lesley for this inspiration. Enjoy your week.
Thanks for stopping by.

Both versions -- yours and Lesley's -- are lovely and though you used the same stamp and layout they have very different looks. I can see why you bought that stamp. The tone one tone looks wonderful here and I love how the darker purple looks with the lighter purple base. Isn't Versamark magical. Wonderful card.

Lovely combination of challenges! Your tulip image works really well for the tone-on-tone look. Love how they swirl around the oval sentiment panel. Great birthday card!
