This week's Featured Stamper, Lesley aka Marleygo, is offering us a smorgasbord of beautiful cards, projects and scrapbook layouts to inspire us galore. I especially enjoyed the humor of many of her cards; but, I need a birthday card for a young girl and thought this design would be perfect: WT940, God’s Promises by Marleygo at Splitcoaststampers
Lesley's die cut reminded me of this fun SSS die; so I kept her floral die cut plate and the rainbow bg but switched out her other elements for a birthday sentiment and butterfly and I opted for my rainbow to go on a diagonal.
For my bg, you can see in the photo I have the CP mini cubes. I simply swiped each cube direct to paper on glossy cs because I wanted a bright bg to show through the flowers. I didn't get much fuchsia on it, so I used that for the butterfly (also direct to paper on glossy cs) and the sentiment. The antenna on this butterfly is from another die set. Once I figured out how to get my bright bg, this card was a quick make.
Congratulations Lesley on being selected Featured Stamper this week. Your Gallery is so much fun to peruse. I see we both love those AI Girls and I might be back with another card featuring them. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the cards made in your honor this week. And I hope everyone's day is filled with rainbows and good wishes. TFL

Beautiful! What a striking BG for this beautiful die-cut. Love how you did the BG. The fabulous butterfly and the headline are the perfect finish...

Well, hats off to you again for a wonderful case and a delightful card! I know what you mean about the humor in Lesley’s gallery - I went four times to find DH so he could also enjoy some of them.

Debbie, this is such a bright and cheerful case of Lesley's card. I love the bold stripes you created with the mini ink pads. The flower cover die is perfect. This took me back to the "flower power" of the 60s.

Truly a great way to create a bg with your ink cubes....and it looks all the more striking with the intricate, cover-all die cut. Sure the young girl will adore this lovely card.

Debbie you must have had great fun swiping these beautiful colors on your glossy cardstock ... what a bright and happy birthday card for that special young girl. Your fuchsia butterfly was the perfect finishing touch!

Beautiful rainbow of happiness! I love the bright colours shining through the white die cut overlay. The butterfly looks fabulous picking up the bit of fuchsia in the corner. My son gave me a bottle of CA red for Mother's Day and it would be great to share it with you (at least in spirit I guess!) :-)
