Lesley has a wonderful gallery and I chose a card she made, using an acrylic block for her BG. I changed to a gel plate for my background and used alcohol inks. The poppies and sentiment were stamped with archival black, the panel framed with black and placed on the hawaiian shores card base. I used an embossing folder on the base to give it a little more interest. The gel plate technique is one I learned about from Loll Thompson and Julia Aston. Here's Lesley's pretty card.

Wonderful colors that you have used on here, Sue. I love those little flowers which look like they have buttons in the centres! Framing this in black is perfect. Looks great on the aqua base!

Gorgeous! Your AI gel plate print is stunning and the black just pops right out of the scene. Love the colors you have chosen for this and the beautiful framing. Fabulous card.
