I love, love, love the bright colors in Barbara's gallery! And so many cards to case, how could I pick just one? I stayed with happy colors and a fun scene, typically used by Barbara, but cased many of her cards into one. I favorited several cards and will use them for inspiration later.
For the DSP behind the curtain, I colored in the flowers with Stampin' Blends as well as the ballerina. I used a different DSP for the larger background for contrast.
I fussy cut the ballerina before I realized there's a die for her!

Well, you certainly achieved your goal of happy colors and a fun scene. I adore your ballerina performing in front of that great curtain die cut and very cute dp bg. The spotted base layer just adds to the frivolity -- and it kinda reminds me of animal spots. Fabulous way to blend many of Barbara's fun cards into your own Fabulous creation. Great card.

Your ballerina is so sweet and your curtain panel is wonderful and really catches the eye! Fantastic card!

Pauline, this is such a precious birthday card. I love your sweet little ballerina and the coordinating designer papers you used. I had to laugh a little about you fussy cutting and then remembering you had a die. That is my life story. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
