A big congrats to Barbara, the newest Featured Stamper (FS84! She has a fantastic gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the bright flowers on black & the slimline layout, but I used different images, dies & embossed a greeting instead of a die cut one.
My slimline card started w/ the black background. I die cut it using a quilted pattern piercing die then added it to a white background w/ a diamond patterned edge. The flowers are 2 part images: the outline & the solid insides. I used a combo of inks to add the colors inside the flowers. The small greeting was stamped in white on a little strip & heat embossed.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & products:The Write Stuff

Julie, those pretty flowers totally pop against that black and I love that die you used for the base. Very cool slimline card/case. Lovely work. Hugz

Julia, this is such a pretty case of Barbara's card. The colorful poppies look so pretty against the black background and I love that you used the white decorative slimline to create the frame.

I have really been drawn to cards with black bgs lately. I love the rich contrast and drama it provides and when you use beautiful bright colors like your blooms they really pop against it. Your rainbow of poppies look fabulous here and, as always, your coloring is beautiful. Wonderful CASE and a Gorgeous card.
