Today was more of a play day than anything else. I purchased a small set of Rembrandt pastel sticks on clearance at Mike's and wanted to try them. I also had a set that I discovered at my Mom's house when we were cleaning it out. My Dad being an artist, I assumed they were his. I don't really know what I'm doing with the pastels but it was fun. I watched a video of an artist using the Rembrandts; she said they didn't create much dust. Wrong!
I was really taken with some of the soft, impressionistic spring art for my three cards. Here is what inspired this one: https://www.greatbigcanvas.com/view/swooping-i,2598900/
It's called 'Swooping'. Originally I wanted to make it quite light but it didn't quite speak to me so I darkened it with my Dad's pastels. Simple stamping on top. Thanks for the challenge!

How fun to use the pastels your Dad must have used in his art! Outstanding card!
