Diane is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some beautiful spring colors to work with. While these flowers said "Spring" to me, I also wanted to play with my new Envelope Pop-Up bundle from Pink & Main. The two went together perfectly! The dessert option this week is to use something from your stash or something retired.
This was my first attempt with this new-to-me die set, and I must say it went together effortlessly. The card is 3-D and stands up on its own, but also folds flat and fits in a standard A2 envelope. I especially love the little notebook page, which floats on a center strip, giving even more dimension.
My dessert for this week is the little butterfly. Oh my goodness, this Embosslit came out in 2010, and I still have it, as well as my original Big Shot! I definitely get dessert this week!
Please join us in the Color Challenge this week. These colors almost make the card themselves, they are so pretty!

This is really pretty Barbara. I love your new die and your choice of designer papers. The little notebook page is amazing. Such a wonderful way to say hello to someone special.

What a bright and happy card, Barbara! I love the check/grid pattern against the stripe. Your expert use of the subtle patterns really play up the "friendliness" of your card.
