I was inspired by these cards (Coming Up Daisies by InkyPinkys at Splitcoaststampers) Lynn shared. My background die demanded lots of work - picking out all the bits! I made a square card, used DP to die cut my background. I fussy cut and die cut my flower. I added my string just behind the flower and also added a sentiment. This is for a fellow crafter's birthday on May 1st.

Janine, this is a great case of Lynn's daisy card. The die cut DP background looks so lacy and perfectly highlights your flower and sentiment. I can definitely relate to punching out all of the negative die cut pieces.

Really pretty, Janine. Love the bg die (worth the work), the colors, that pretty flower, and the cool string. It really makes a lovely birthday card! Well done! Hugz

Fantastic CASE of Lynn's lovely card. I love the look of the dp being die cut. The mix and flow of colors adds so much interest to that layer. Your bloom is gorgeous (super fussy cutting BTW). Love the sheen on the petals. Your crafting friend will surely treasure this beauty. Fabulous card, Janine.
