Here's a second card which I've cased from our featured stamper Susan, you can find her pretty card here: Chickadee Hello by MDO Susan at Splitcoaststampers
I've kept the shadow box card idea, changed the colors, and used only 1 bird, I've made the aperture with the bird circle die, then dry embossed the panel, scored and folded, die cut the "grass" and top layer and frame out of kraft, stamped the sentiment through the aperture and sponged the embossing

Beautiful! I love the colors and the card design. Perfect idea to sponge those trees too. I love this, Anita. Hugz

Such a sweet card with the cute bird die cut. Love the swirled layering with the decorative edging on the front. Another beautiful CASE and another beautiful card.

Oh, how m any ideas I am getting out of what you did with that simple card, Anita! You just go the extra mile, expanding what I can do with borders, but simplifying the colors and creating layers with embossing and grass and a stitched upper border. What an un believable 80th birthday present Splitcoaststampers gave me with the Featured Stamper honor. I am learning so much from what people do with my entries. Thank you!
