This was an attempt at the technique challenge this week, embossing ribbons in an embossing folder. I got several bee-themed ribbons last year at Dollar Tree and had not yet used them. I attached one side of some double sided wide tape to plain white cardstock and added a honeycomb and two copper ribbons to it, then dry embossed in a hexagon folder. After that I decided to use a banner die to cut out the ribbon piece, which worked but squished out some of the embossing definition. If I do this again I will reverse the order!
I attached some dark yellow cardstock to the front of a premade card and glued the banner in place on it. I stamped the bee and sentiment in sepia ink and cut them out, and die cut the wildflower from a scrap of brown cardstock. I glued the bee and flower die cut to the card front ad attached the sentiment with foam tape.
USEIT2023: Haven't used the Honeybee set nearly enough so far, and the ribbons were brand new and in my stash for at least a year.
