This card is for the teaparty for Pam and uses the colors for today's color challenge: Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie. I have just a touch of Pumpkin Pie at the bases of my tulip blooms. My dessert is the addition of yellow.
We are making cards for Pam using styles and/or techniques that we enjoy. I have been a fan of the Penny Black brushstroke style stamps for years so I chose these tulips, applied ink direct-to-rubber, spritzed with water and lightly blended with a damp paint brush.

Gorgeous and I love that you chose yellow for the tulips -- it really is such a happy color. I love those PB stamps too and this one is particularly lovely. That you topped it off with those butterflies is a winner in my book. And what a great sentiment. I think Pam will feel like it's Spring in her house. Great card.

These tulips are lovely, Claudia. I love the watercolor look that I am unable to achieve. A beautiful use of the colors and I'm sure Pam will love this.

You really do a wonderful job with this technique and stamps. The tulips are beautiful along with the darling butterflies. Love that sentiment. So waiting for spring. TFS
