I kept her bokeh and tore my velumto too kind of llook like her hills, but I went much bolder and don't have any trees or nature.
I use my sentiment stamp all over the background too - stamped in black and with the white paint I had on my counter from my inspiration card I made today. My Mom was always right - I should have listened to her more.
Come check out Karen's lovely gallery - we would love to see how she inspired you.

Stunning and that sentiment is so perfect for any mother. I LOVE IT! Your background is simply gorgeous with the "bokeh" dots and the sentiment repeats. Fabulous! And, my face never froze either, thank goodness because I did make some fairly ridiculous faces as a kid...and maybe still. LOL

Nancy, I love the fact that you went bold with the bokeh background. It lets the sentiment really stand out! I'm delighted one of my cards inspired you!
So very proud to be the featured stamper!

Nancy, This is such a gorgeous card. I love, love, love the background you created, especially the touches of the sentiment in white. The sentiment is so precious. It reminded me of my mother. She was right so many, many times.

I love this card because the words apply to all of us, as kids, and then as moms ourselves. Love it, Nancy!!
