This basket weave paper was just the thing for creating an Easter basket. I die cut the largest oval first and the next size down halfway to make the handle. I folded the excess back and ta da!- a basket for the eggs. The patterned paper I chose for the eggs had intricate designs and reminded me of the delicate patterns on Ukrainian Easter eggs. I started by attaching a piece of blue marble copy paper (a go-to for me when I want an outdoor scene). I used narrow tape on the bottom of the grass border but did not glue the blades of grass as I wanted to fit the basket and extra eggs behind it. A simple sentiment on foam tape and it was done.
