I stamped the unmounted wheel along the bottom for the ocean floor (SU). Then the crab (SU). I then stamped the seaweed (TAC). Then stamped the bubbles, using three shades of blue ink. I selected the water themed dsp to give the sense of movement in the ocean. Decided the image was too white, so I put some ink down on my glass mat, spritzed it with water, moved the ink around until I saw something I liked, and layed the stamped image into it to absorb the ink colors. Using the same ink colors that were on my blending brush from having moved the colors around on the glass mat, I used the brush to brush across the ocean floor and around the edges, thus covering the stark white to create a scene I like.
I chose the crab to represent my favorite seafood to eat, shrimp and crab. The ocean scene gives me a warm, cozy, welcoming feel, as I love, love, love the ocean! Or any large body of water!
