The idea immediately came to mind when I read the spagetti/swirls challenge and the fun discussion about marbles that ensued. Lol!
I quickly created the background by dropping red ink drops onto marbles that had been placed in a dish with the white cardstock, then tilted the dish around to roll the marbles. I was going for swirled, but what I got was more of lines and blobs. It is supposed to represent spagetti. Ha!
While that was drying, I stamped the chef on another piece of white accent cardstock using Versafine Onyx. I set that aside to dry.
Next, I stamped the spagetti, using a real red ink pad, applied carefully so as not to get red on the spagetti dish. I inked the dish edge and the meat balls with CPI Black Jack, then dabbed a bit of bronze onto the meatballs to give them the coloring of actual meatballs. I colored the spagetti with a real red blend alcohol marker. I set that aside to dry while fussy cutting the chef. Then I fussy cut the plate of spagetti. I colored the chef with alcohol markers, shown in photo, also coloring the platter and bowl with Smokey slate, representing a silver platter. I layered the pieces using wet glue, placing the plate of spagetti on dimensionals. Lastly, I added some pizzazz to the spagetti with a scrapbook.com version of a wink of Stella clear glitter pen. The glitter pen helped spread out the sauce, a perfect ending!

I think that because, the 'sketti in the bowl and the texture of the background you really get the idea it is Pasta so, that is fun even if it's not quite what you thought you would get when you started.
