I had no idea what to do for this challenge to feature something French, but I started looking through my old stamps and found this vintage map, which just happens to have FRANCE right in the middle! I stamped it and colored with markers and watercolor pencil and sponged Soft Suede around the edges. I then remembered I had the SU French Script (duh!) BG stamp, which I stamped on the piece of distressed wood DSP. Die cut the letters for BON VOYAGE and added a postcard travel charm. Now I just need someone to go on a trip!

What a great card! I also began to realize some of the things I had in my stamp collection that would work after I had my plan. I really like the look of your card.

Isn't it amazing what you find when you go looking through your stash? I think this is a fantastic card and a wonderful way to meet the challenge. I'm also a big fan of script backgrounds.

I too thought that map stamp was DP. You did a great job colouring it. I love the way you pulled together the items in your stash to make this beautiful card! Great work!
