This week's Ways to Use it Challenge is a celebration of France, in commemoration of the opening of the Eiffel Tower. I have an Eiffel Tower stamp that is just a touch too big for an A2 card, so I made a mini slimline and it fit perfectly. I began with a patterned paper with a subtle print to it, and computer printed Merci repeatedly down the side. Then I stamped and heat embossed the tower. I used a cool blue/silver metallic ribbon/fiber down the left side. The pattern paper is matted on a blue metallic paper, then on a white card with just a tiny bit of reveal around the edges. The tag is cut from the same blue paper. I wanted to stamp a fleur de lis on the tag (I'm convinced I own such a stamp, but I couldn't find it, so I substituted this stylized image that could maybe be a fleur de lis???) So, if you don't have an Eiffel Tower, use what you have that says "France" to you.

This looks wonderful! I love your Eiffel Tower image. I didn't even think of a fleur de lis. I bet that I have some of those in my stamp collection too.

That ribbon is amazing, and a great pairing with the lattice work in the Eiffel Tower. And the multiple sentiment is great. I'm not even sure that I have a fleur de lis!

The tall, slim card design is perfect for the Eiffel Tower image! I love that metallic trm and little tag along the side, adding to the tall look of this. Very pretty card!

Love the layout and the sentiment down the side. Super Eifel Tower image. I love that there is a way we can use these larger images now with the ability to do slimline or mini slimline now.
