This is for this week's Featured Stamper Christine (Crafty Meme). I'm not sure why I am feeling so inspired today, but, I am loving it. Maybe it's b/c my husband keeps doing the dishes.
When I saw this card: Bucket of Forget Me Nots & Lily of the Valley by Crafty Meme at Splitcoaststampers
It made me realize that these flowers are probably Forget Me Nots. Do you think so, too? So, that helped me in my coloring. I used two different colors for the base of the flowers: Copic B12 and Artist's Loft B32. For the shading I used Artist's Loft B4. The other Copics are Y15, G21, YG67. I stamped the flowers in Orchid, but the sentiment in Blueberry. I colored my flag with AL B32 to match. The card base is Blueberry b/c the Orchid just seemed too bright.

Wow, another beauty. Love the bright yellow and the pattern gives such a wonderful look and texture to the card. Perfect base for those wonderful blooms. I thought they were forget-me-nots before I read your write-up, but I am no expert at flowers. But I do love the look for these sweet blossoms and they look sensational in blue against the yellow. I think you chose the perfect base -- the blue over the orchid -- looks great. Fabulous card. It's so fun when we get those bursts of creativity. Hope it lasts for some time. Enjoy!
