All my card stashes got seriously depleted last year, so I got one more quick card made after lunch while the icecream churned and before it got to nap time. The PB florals have been sitting out waiting for me to use. Yes, I know this isn't a lily, but that was just the sentiment I chose to use with it. It's coloured like the wild fuchsia we had in our garden when I was growing up. Edges heavily sponged with antique linen, panel spattered with blue using an Inktense pencil. I sponged a piece of card with Speckled Egg and stamped Canvas on it with vintage photo, happy with the distressed look. Spattered that with gold. Sponged some more card for the matting layer. Edged image panel and base panel with a gold pen, and added a seam binding bow to finish it off.

You had wild fuchsia? Lucky ducky! I used to buy them to hang in the window but they never survived. :( And ice cream churning? I want to live in your house! LOL.
This is charming card. The colors play into the vintage tones...and I like the bow.
