I started by adding some color around the edges of the base card. Then I cut a 4-1/4" square of 2-sided designer paper, scored one edge at an angle & glued only the side & bottom edges to the base to form a pocket. I trimmed a paper doily to fit beneath the flap & glued that down.
Then I stamped the bird & did a partial die cut for the oval & trimmed around the bird by hand. I added 1/8" strips of the DP for trim. Stamped the tiny bird, punched it out & colored it; then I attached the circle to the front of the flap. The oval is also stamped with 'thinking of you' and inserted into the pocket

The color is wonderful, and I love the lace you added, Melody. Fun challenge.

What a fantastic card! So many details to study....the paper doily edging the turned-down pocket flap, the ink blending, the criss-cross of strips in the top corner, and (my favorite) the bird in the circle shape placed on the flap!
